Hannah Frilot Scholarship

In memory of Hannah Frilot, this annual scholarship supports an undergraduate student following in Hannah’s footsteps, pursuing interests in a STEM major. A scholar is chosen annually to receive a $1,000 scholarship. Hannah, an industrial engineering student, had an impact across the campus, from her work as a UMass IT student staffer, to being treasurer of the Pride Alliance, to her support of the Stonewall Center. With her many interests and involvement on- and off-campus in mind, the purpose of the Fund is to provide scholarship support to undergraduate STEM majors with a minimum GPA of 2.0. Preference will be given to students with a demonstrated interest in, or commitment to, working to promote the needs of LGBTQIA individuals and/or overcoming gender equality gaps in common spaces.
