Donald L. Mader Natural Resources Conservation Memorial Award

The Donald L. Mader Natural Resources Conservation Memorial Award, established by the late Professor Herschel G. Abbott, provides scholarships to juniors, seniors, or graduate students in degree programs in the Department of Environmental Conservation. The award may also be made to assist ECO students in covering costs related to attending a conference or for research activities. Preference is given to students who are concentrating in forest studies, especially in forest soils. Additional consideration will be given to students who demonstrate financial need with the Financial Aid Office or show academic merit by maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.0.
