Physics Department Undergraduate Summer Research Awards

The Edward S. Chang Endowed Fund for Undergraduate Research provides research grants for undergraduate physics majors pursuing physics research projects under faculty guidance. In order to benefit as many students as possible and to help students learn how scientists seek research funding, students will be required to submit brief proposals, with assistance from faculty research advisors, for projects that will be completed during an academic semester or over the summer. Awards will be based on the scientific and educational merit of the project and a clear and concise proposal and project budget from the student.

The Professor Kenneth Langley and Joan Langley Research Fund for Future Physicists provides a research award to undergraduate majors in the Department of Physics. The fund will support summer research in a Physics lab for one or more undergraduate students. Eligible recipients will be rising sophomores, juniors or seniors. There is no minimum GPA requirement.
