Leo M. Hall Memorial Fund

The Leo M. Hall Memorial Fund, in memory of the late UMass geology professor, supports geological field work by students in the Department of Earth, Geographic, and Climate Sciences. The preferred use is for direct support of field research or field course work, but there is no intent to restrict the recipient’s use of the funds. Recipients should be excellent students and exhibit outstanding promise as future members of the geological profession. A strong interest in field geology is important but not required.
