Mr. David W.Briggs, '68

David W. Briggs, a 1968 graduate of the University, created this scholarship to honor his mother, Jean S. Briggs. David received a bachelor of arts degree from the Department of Government now known as the Department of Political Science. While at the University, he sang with the University Chorale and was also a member of the Symphonic Band. After receiving his undergraduate degree from UMass Amherst, he served in the United States Air Force. He then continued his studies at the George Washington University Law School, receiving his Juris Doctor degree in 1975.
