Global Health Impact Endowment

Established to support graduate or doctoral students in the Public Health major with interest in, and commitment to, performing research that advances the goal of understanding and improving human health globally. Eligible recipients will demonstrate an interest in working in global health, maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0, and have demonstrated
financial need as determined by UMass Amherst. Preference will be given to students training in areas such as global disease and hazard surveillance, monitoring and evaluating disease patterns and trends, pragmatic epidemiological research strategies, applied toxicology, environmental assessment, and strategic information and program management, as evidenced by their coursework. The Fund may be used to support research, travel and programmatic needs as approved by the Director of the UMass Institute of Global Health.
