The Scott J. Bacherman Internship Awards
Established in memory of Scott Bacherman, this fund provides support for internships for undergraduate students enrolled in majors within the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, who have secured internships in media in fields such as, but not limited to, heritage, broadcast, convergent, digital, emerging, and cross platform media as well as those who have secured internships in journalism, sports, entertainment and public relations. Eligible recipients must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and have demonstrated financial need as determined by the Financial Aid Office. A preference will be given to students with either paid or volunteer experience in campus media, including but is not limited to, WMUA, TV19, Daily Collegian, or the Amherst Wire.
