Established to support students enrolled in the iCons Program with financial need as determined by the UMass Amherst Office of Financial Aid.

Supplemental Questions

One of the goals of the iCons Program is to provide an opportunity for students to work in an interdisciplinary team on a real-world problem. Please share an example of how working with your iCons team members from different disciplines either changed or enhanced your understanding of such a real-world problem.
The iCons program also seeks to train students on how to articulate an interdisciplinary scientific argument to both scientists and non-scientists. Please share an example of how your scientific communication skills have improved as a result of your participation in the iCons program.
