Paul Utgoff Memorial Graduate Scholarship in Machine Learning

Established to provide scholarship support to one or more Computer Science graduate student(s) pursuing research in machine learning in the Manning College of Information and Computer Sciences. The recipient(s) of the award will be first-year graduate students. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate scholarly excellence and good academic standing at the undergraduate level; are socioeconomically disadvantaged; are from the first generation in their immediate family to graduate college; or have interest or prior undergraduate experience in interdisciplinary applications of machine learning such as music, biological sciences or other sciences.
