The Richard J. Clark Memorial Scholarship for Teacher Education was established on behalf of alumni, colleagues, family and friends of Dr. Richard J. Clark as a memorial to honor Dr. Clark in a lasting and meaningful way. Dr. Richard J. Clark dedicated 31 years of his professional life to the UMass Amherst School of Education, serving in a variety of positions and creating award-winning teacher education programs that have served as models for other school districts. Dr. Clark touched the lives of many students and
faculty throughout his career at UMass Amherst.
