Richard and Geraldine Wise

Mary Margaret (Meg) Whittaker-Webster passed away in 2008 after a courageous battle with brain cancer. She was the beloved daughter of Mary C. Whittaker ’ 57 of Somerset, MA, and Thomas C. Whittaker ‘61 of Boca Raton, FL; wife of Sam Webster; and niece of Geraldine Wise ’ 61. Meg was a 1981 graduate of the Moses Brown School, Providence, RI; a 1985 education graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a master’ s degree graduate in social work of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Meg had a fulfilling career as a psychiatric social worker.

Richard A. Wise is a 1948 engineering graduate of Brown University and received his Juris Doctorate in 1952 from Boston University. Richard is the father of Andrew D. Wise ’90 Geology, for whom a similar memorial fund has been established in the Geosciences Department. Richard had a career as a patent attorney.

Geraldine C. Wise is a 1961 history graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst and had a career in insurance marketing.
