C.D. Youngren Scholarship

The C.D. Youngren Scholarship, established by Clare (Youngren) Whaley ’38, is awarded to a rising senior engaged in a research opportunity during the summer of her/his junior year and continuing through her/his senior year. Recipients will be outstanding students in natural sciences and mathematics, with preference to those majoring in one of the following seven areas: biology, biochemistry, chemistry, geosciences, mathematics and statistics, physics, or astronomy.
