Futures of Art History Scholarship

Provides scholarship support to upper-level History of Art and Architecture majors with financial need as determined by UMass Amherst. Preference will be given to students who come from a racial or cultural background underrepresented in the field of art history; students who have experienced financial hardship; or students who have demonstrated a sustained commitment to diversity (meaning efforts to reduce social, educational, or economic disparities based on race, ethnicity, or gender or to improve race relations) in the academic, professional, or civic realm. Students must be in good academic standing, have a GPA of at least 2.5, and no incompletes to be considered.
