HTM Isenberg Cultural & Tourism Management in Europe Scholarship
We understand that funding an international experience while in school is a financial hardship for many students. HTM has limited scholarships (from $1,000-$2,500) to assist students who fit the criteria below; students will be responsible for funding the balance of the trip themselves. Additionally, Isenberg manages more than $900,000 in scholarship funds, many of which are geared toward helping students who are hoping to study abroad. In order to apply for one of the HTM CATMIE scholarships please carefully review the information below.
CRITERIA:
□ Must currently be an HTM major planning to continue in the major the next academic year.
□ Must show financial need via your FAFSA on file with the University. If you do not have a FAFSA on file you may still apply but you must explain why you have no FAFSA on file and give adequate information about your family financial situation.
□ Must have a GPA of 2.7 or higher.
□ Must complete IPO application for this abroad program.
□ Must apply for a scholarship through the general Isenberg Scholarship program.
HOW TO APPLY:
□ Complete your IPO application for this program. (This would include making the $1,000 deposit, which guarantees your spot. If you do not receive an award of at least $1,000, you may decline to join the program and your deposit will be refunded upon request—see below). http://www.ipo.umass.edu/index.cfm?FuseAction=Programs.ViewProgram&Program_ID=11396
□ Complete the Isenberg Scholarship application. https://www.isenberg.umass.edu/resources/guides/undergraduate-scholarship-program
□ By October 18th at 11:59pm, certify by email to Laurie Salame (lsalame@isenberg.umass.edu) that you: meet the criteria above, have completed your IPO application, have completed your Isenberg Scholarships application, and wish to be considered for this scholarship.
□ Award notifications will go out by October 25th.
□ Request to decline participation in the trip and refund of deposit must be made via email to Laurie Salame by November 4th at 12:00pm (noon).
