Yardi Scholarship

The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarship support to two students per year for a total of eight students over four years. Each year, the University’s admissions or financial aid office will identify two outstanding first-year, first-generation students who intend to major in business to be awarded the scholarship. The scholars must be in-state applicants and it is preferred (but not required) that the recipient(s) of the award will:

- Be a first year, first-generation undergraduate applicant;
- Be a need-based applicant;
- Have a GPA of 2.8 or higher upon completing high school;
- Express intent to major in a business-related field;
- Demonstrate respect for the University’s academic and personal codes of conduct, as well as commitment to community.

The scholarship will be renewable for up to four years if the recipient is making satisfactory academic progress, maintains a GPA of 2.8 or higher, and is free of any disciplinary issues. While the recipient should express the intent to major in a business-related field, if the recipient changes to a different major, then the recipient remains eligible to receive the scholarship.
