Ralph E. Stratton Scholarship Award

The Ralph E. Stratton Scholarship Award, established by a bequest from Mr. Stratton ’32, is given to students in the two-year degree programs in the Stockbridge School of Agriculture. Applicants must submit a paper entitled, “Why I am Happy to be an American” and the paper should be designated to have a maximum reading time of five minutes. The top submitted papers will be selected to be read by the student applicants at a public meeting. At the end of the session, meeting attendees will cast a ballot ranking the speakers and their papers. The four papers receiving the highest number of ranked votes will receive the awards.
