UMass Sustainability Scholarship
Established to support rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors in the College of Natural Sciences. Recipients must be pursuing a degree in sustainability-related fields, have a GPA of at least 3.5, and have financial need as determined by the UMass Amherst Office of Financial Aid. Preference will be given to students who have conducted research on low-carbon technologies / applications. Applicants will submit a 300-word essay that articulates: (1) the immediate and/or future impact of the candidate’s current research on low-carbon technologies and/or (2) the candidate’s future ambitions in tackling critical sustainability challenges.
